Witnessing An Accident From Different Angles
I am dumbfounded to watch this amazing video in an era when the electronics and the Computers were not yet born and the animation is top notch. 👌👌👌
Is it the Car? Or the Soundtrack? 😄
Such modern Chever-Lay technology, available at a trailer park near you!
I could have been a master auto tech back then
Back then you could have fathered 13 children and if you could avoid the mothers fathers shotgun, you were good to go~
Miss the car's of the time and relative better times crime wise. Country has steadily gone down the drain. RIP real criminal like Kissinger and his tribe.
so good nowadays you need to spend 30K on some course and sift though a bunch of redundant garbage to get an understanding that could be had from just a few of these videos sure we do that through RUclips channels but these are so cool because they were the official standards and procedures from the industry you know the information is correct and conclusive
Amazing! The children shown on the teeter-totter at 0:46 are probably not alive, but if they were, they would be around 100 years old!
what is that song in the intro? Anyone have a name?
this is excellent. how did they do it without diversity
OK Now I want a 1936 Chevrolet Truck.
I hope these are still shown in engineering school today... While 3d renderings are cool... nothing beats these old school videos!
A
I knew how engines work, now I know how differentials work :D
Fret not, motorized vehicles built before 2008 still exist! Preserve them if you can as I can assure you others will wish you had in 50 years time!
Really cool! I wonder what they do with the old body molds after a redesign?
I got one lesson in meteorology and one in automotive engineering….
So why did the audio go out a few times?
Not a SUV for sure.
They designed vehicles for easy repair back in the day. Now repair isn’t a consideration because they can bill $150 an hour for labor. If you want the perfect car pair an engineer with a mechanic before you approve it for mass production.
this video makes me happy
These videos are teaching me sooooo much shit 😂 and I'm in my 40s. Loving it.
Brilliant
Out of the 61-4 Chevy,I bounce between the 61,or the 62,then the 63,like the 61-2 windshield openings with the ode to the small dogleg door opening, and the station wagons.I get a feel that Jeep liked the roof design of the 61-4 GM wagons the basic style lived on in the Wagoner till 92.
Damnit..... Did you see that chic granny shiftin instead of double clutchin like she should be! 🤦🏼♂️
American ingenuity.
And here I am, in 2024, getting amazed at the ingenious design and incredibly simple replace-ability of a 1936 Chevrolet axle.
Contrabassoon and oboe.. Brilliant!
I like this film. I am from California, but nobody is talking about how at 3:51 is the first photo evidence of California's Whataburger. That location is now called A-Burger, which I find pretty interesting!
This is good video very interesting and informative
Tandem ou le pont arrière
I FINALLY KNOW WHAT IS IT 🤯
My first car was a sub-compact. Never again.
Narrated by david lynch
They all float Georgie.
How did they create such good animations back in the day?
This is why i love old us more than present eastern europe. It was fun.
Oh how far GM has fallen.
Am I the only one here from 2024?
Tom scott fans will note that this is one of the fabled "jam handy" productions mentioned in the thomas trueblood episode
These old infomercials are like.... 1000x times better than whatever the hell we have now. These are so infomative, they tell you WHY they are better, they show you HOW they are better, they tell you the details so you aren't misinformed and confused. Nowdays: BUY THIS TRUCK BECASUE THIS TRUCK CAN DRIVE THROUGH MEGA HEAVY RAIN AND YOU FEEL NOTHING AND IT'S BETTER THAN EVEYRTHING ELSE! Its got AI, Its got MEDIA SCREEN, its got ALL the things!
5:34 holy shit this just blew my mind
“Imma pull over and change my axle right quick”…
That screams America to me God bless America 🇺🇸 we were strong and built stuff to last
Mr. Fisher will be spending tonight away from home in a hotel. Here's Mr. Fisher using the hotel telephone to call his girlfriend Sally who lives nearby. Mr. Fisher is careful not to let his wife know anything about Sally.
Today I learned that there was 1WD.
.....meanwhile in Czechoslovakia....Tatra 85 with indenpendent suspension and central frame.....
for a broken drive axle shaft. how do you get the inner part out when it does snap, and yes even the great 14 bolt dies brake but only under great stress.
By the way Us British invented tarmac
Must have been an angle riding shotgun in the upside down 59 Chevy.
12:44 Fascinating watching those guys jostle that metal around in that forging machine. Tremendous forearm strength and overall body strength and coordination. The old guy could probably weave rebar into a basket
